Tool-up your hose: watering plants to full-on cleaning power

‣ MyFixitUpLife Theresa HYDE Pivot Jet Water plantsI like cleaning chores to be easy.

And I want cleaning to be quick.

In a home with kids and pets, there are lots of messes and things that need to be cleaned, from dog doo-doo on the shoe to potting soil in the driveway.

And when one tool can clean all of those messes, my life gets easier and boring clean-up goes faster.

A typical list my wife has given me to tackle:

  • Brighten up second floor windows—from the ground: Check.
  • Wash the wheel wells on the truck: Done, baby, done.
  • Water hanging plants: A gentle rain.
  • Get under the mower deck: Get low and go.
  • Wash fences, sidewalks, and more: Bring me power.
  • Water thirsty plants that live way past the end of the garden hose: Who ya gonna call?

We use a hose attachment called Hyde’s PivotJet for all this and more. Check out this video.

It has an articulating nozzle that gets the water where it does the most work, without me having to do gymnastics to get it done. And the adjustable spray pattern means we put the right amount of water right where it needs to be from a flower to full-power.

With one tool, my HoneyDo List is done. And I’m ready for the next list.
