A lot of contractors hang out a shingle because we love our craft. There’s something beautiful about leaving a building better than you found it.
But, as so many of us are aware (sometimes painfully so), we’re in business and that means being a business person — and a craftsman. Many find the toggle a tough one.
On the other hand, some people get in to access the rich vein of money this industry is. Either way, business means money and new customers are the ones who have it.
