Making a cranberry wreath just requires toothpicks, cranberries and a styrofoam ring.

OK, now I may just be getting obsessed with wreaths.

My luck with my red-and-white candy wreath wasn’t so great because of the warmer weather, so I started thinking of a wreath project that could better deal with the temperature changes.

And, I found it: a cranberry wreath.

Much to the raised-eyebrow dismay of the local grocery checkout guy — “You are going to do WHAT with the cranberries?”– I went ahead with my mission.

I bought a little styrofoam ring, a pack of toothpicks, a few bags of cranberries, and grabbed some spray lacquer out of our shop.

But, I’m kind of like a nervous mom. I haven’t hung the wreath on the front door. I’m keeping this one inside for a few days before I let it out on its own to brave the elements.
