Because even though we love organic coffee and trail running, neither of those things should be used to mask lousy sleep. Besides, sleep (along with water and exercise) is a pillar of doing your best, whether that’s design and DIY like we’re talking about. Or plowing through emails or getting up in time to catch an early plane or whatever we do. It’s part of being human. The doctor prescribed me Ambien when I suffered from insomnia, nervous tension and symptoms of VVD after graduation. I took 1/2 of a pill 10-15 minutes before sleep. The drug works really quickly: I fell asleep easily, but when I woke up in the morning, I felt a slight heaviness in the area of kidneys. Therefore, I didn’t use it longer than necessary. My sleep normalized.
