Kinky Hose?

Untangle your garden hose.

Let the sun untangle your garden hose.

Warm weather means hose season: Washing, watering, cleaning, Slip ‘N Slide-ing.

But your hose has been jammed in your garage/shed/under the porch all winter and it’s a tangled, knotted mess. Untangling it is easy. All you need is a warm day.

Lay your hose out in a long line or series of long loops. Untangle and untwist as you go. Position both ends downhill so water can drain. Then let the sun do the rest.

As the sun warms the hose it eases the kinks and softens the rubber. We like doing this along a driveway or walking path helps because it absorbs heat too; just don’t drive or trip on your hose. Once warmed up, the hose is less prone to tangling and waaaaaay easier to coil up.
