Don’t cheap out on flooring.
We don’t mean don’t get the floor you want, we mean install it everywhere in the space, like under the appliances.
Yes, it seems like there’s a few bucks to save here—who cares about floor tiles under the stove once there is a stove there—but they’re almost instantly eroded on installation slow-downs and completely sunk if they cause a major layout error because you measure from subfloor instead of finished floor height.
