Lexi’s blog: The Green Screen Funhouse

Find the Green Screen project inside this book DIY Furniture

Hello. Today I’m talking about a very unique and fun project called the Green Screen.

It, well, can’t be explained, so I’ll tell you about it.

So, these guys names Paola de Francesco and Joao Silva for Recession Design designed a really cool plant rack called a Green Screen.

And they said that the Green Screen is: “A house inside a house where we can meet, we can work, we can eat, we can transform. We can do whatever. And we can make it grow.”

And believe it or not this this can hang plants, too!

This inspires me to make a funhouse. I know that’s kind of strange, but let me tell you why I’m inspired to make a funhouse. Well, instead of those white rails they used, you can use ladders and you climb up ladders, right? So it would be called ladder house, with everything made of ladders. Some things would be bumpy slides and ladder trains. But the hit would be the ladder swing. The kids would get harnessed in and very slowly this contraption would move forward and backward and the  kids would try to climb on it. Oh, what fun that would be!

I like this Green Screen project a lot because you can plant vines and twining plants inside your house. You are in a greenhouse or a deserted garden. And lastly you can grow bigger plants if you live in an permanent.

I would enjoy making this very much!
