Mark and Theresa were among the first to be invited into the 2011 HGTV Dream Home in Stowe, VT.
Click the arrow at the right to listen to their interviews with house planner Jack Thomasson, architect Paul Robert Rousselle, and interior designer Linda Woodrum. Each share their favorite features of the home, and Jack even teases Theresa by almost mentioning the 2012 Dream Home location. Theresa asks what it takes for a town to be selected by him for a Dream Home location.
Mark and Theresa shared the details of the 2011 Dream Home, from the Wellborn cabinets, the Timberclad Poplar Bark Siding, the Bathtub on wood “feet,” the copper chimney surround, the barn door as art, using pressure treated southern pine, and the ultimate bathroom and kid’s room.
Find out how Mark and Theresa get talking about “The Exorcist” stairs in Georgetown, transporting trash from Pennsylvania, Mark’s prime ministerial suite, a bag full of cash, and why they aren’t allowed to sit down during their show.
Last year, HGTV received more than 40 million entries to win the 2010 HGTV Dream Home in Sandia Park, N.M. You can enter to win every day, starting January 1, 2011.
