Licensed contractor Matt Blashaw is everything you want in a versatile handyman and then some. His home improvement company once used the slogan “One Call Fixes It All” and Matt made a point of always delivering on that promise. If you’re thinking about taking on a do-it-yourself project, take his advice and just go for it. Matt has hosted DIY Network’s Money Hunters, Deconstruction and Project Xtreme. Matt is the current host of Yard Crashers.

Brittany grew up in Northern Virginia, the oldest of three daughters. Her parents added onto her home three times during my childhood. During renovations, her mom and dad let her swing hammers and “help” them build. They instilled in Brittany a belief that she could do anything a boy could do — if not better.

This episode of MyFixitUpLife aired Saturday, May 3rd at 10am on Philadelphia’s 1520am, and worldwide on Friday, May 9th at 1pmET on BlogTalkRadio.
