Today I’m going to tell you about my trip to Lewes, DE when I was in a scene for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The episode airs Thanksgiving week, so be sure to check it out.
We drove three hours to Delaware to go to Extreme Makeover. We waited all morning then we had to get in the fencing for yelling MOVE THAT BUS!
But unfortunately Dad had to walk Jack around in the stroller. It’s weird, but they put everyone in the fencing, then with a lot of practicing, the bus finally came. The family was so surprised.
But before the family came, some people pulled some kids out of the line. I didn’t want to go, but Theresa made me. Well, I didn’t see it coming but I was going to be on TV. The people took us behind the house and told us what we had to do.
They said: “When Ty Pennington says ‘Could we get some kids out here,’ you run out cheering.” And then the two tallest kids were selected to go on the bikes and start pedaling and the rest of you will start cheering.
Well, we had to do that a couple of times. Then we waited a while and then did it for real. It was so cool!
And, also to top all of that, in the scene was Ty Pennington and Sabrina Soto. I even talked to Sabrina. Then we were done.
After that we found Dad and Jack and had lunch. While we were eating, Sabrina stopped by. When my dad said to her that I was his daughter, she was excited.
I think this is the best vacation I’ll ever have!
