Need for a New Roof?

‣ MyFixitUpLife With the recent bad weather in many parts of the country, and more winter to come, you may be thinking about your roof. Is it time for a new one, or can I repair it myself?

Some roof projects (think sheds, garages, porches) are certainly within the scope of some ardent DIYers, roofing an entire occupied home generally tends to be a project undertaken by pros because, among other things, the sheer scope of the project and the amount at stake (rain in your living room anyone?)

The first step is to determine if the roof needs to be replaced or repaired. This knowledge will help you in dealing with a roofing contractor.
