In order to reach the nation’s climate and energy goals, on-site generation including rooftop solar must grow four times faster over the next ten years than in the previous decade, according to The U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Futures Study.
The study finds that with aggressive action, solar could account for as much as 40 percent of the nation’s electricity supply by 2035.
