Sometimes I get inspired. And then my husband Mark has to take a breath and make a decision between trying to talk me out of my complicated plan or just step back and let it happen.
We’ve taken on a molding project for a young family expecting their first baby this summer. And the molding turned into paint, and then the paint turned into plaid. I pulled back a little from plaid, but not all the way to solid.
It took some time to select the right colors for the room, but we used the new mobile app from Olympic Paints to take a photo of the baby’s bedding to get a good color match.
This photo is a sneak peak at the tedious part of the project, the taping of the wall. It can be tedious, but in the end, I think it will be worth it.
Words of caution: To me, there’s nothing more frustrating in a complicated paint project than having the tape fail. This may seem like a commercial for Frog Tape, but it really does work better than any other painting tape I’ve tried.
