A yarn wreath of fun pom-poms is easy to make.

If you are looking for an afternoon craft project with your kids, try out this yarn wreath made from pom-poms.

It’s always nice to have a helper.

Wreaths that are fun to make and inexpensive are my favorite kind of craft project.

Tracy Hutson introduced me to the pom-pom a few weeks ago on MyFixitUpLife’s DIYNight. While we were creating pom-pom garlands I was inspired to make a wreath.

So for St. Patrick’s Day, I made a pile of green pom-poms. The yarn wreath makes me happy, but it also reminds me of a mop. To dress up the look, I made a fun bow from polka-dot ribbon.

The bow has me thinking of a Spring wreath made of bows just like this one. I can’t wait to get started on that next project.

I like my St. Patrick’s Day yarn wreath, but it kinda reminds me of a fancy mop.
Making this little bow made me happy.
I think my cat Rowdee has other plans for the yarn.
