FixitUpFinds: We adopted a pig for kids with cancer

Our 'Matty Pig' in Vegas

Well, we didn’t actually adopt a real live pig. But, I did bring home a little orange piggy bank from a recent trip to downtown Philadelphia.

The pig was painted by Matty (age 7) who has cancer. Kids like Matty
decorate little piggy banks for an organization called Adopt-a-Pig.

We pay $25 to adopt the pig, and then as we fill up the bank with money we collect for kids with cancer, we send in a check to the organization to help kids like Matty.

We brought our Matty Pig with us to recent events in Vegas, and asked the
celebrities we interviewed for their loose change to fill her belly.
