Classic patterns — stripes, plaid, polka-dot, and argyle — are like good friends. But lately, argyle risen to the top of my favorites.
I’m obsessed with argyle.
I don’t know if it’s fashion and interior decor that has dictated my newly recognized love of argyle. It’s the chicken-and-the-egg design question. I honestly don’t know which.
It can be a coincidence that my argyle obsession blossomed with other designers, as they have been slowly introducing it in a variety of products, beyond the classic sock and sweater.
But it can also be the demand from like-minded designers that has grown the opportunity to acquire plaid in ottomans, chairs, and so many other furnishings. And my favorite is finding designers experimenting with the pattern as wall art, flooring, and other decor surprises.
Whatever the case, I’ve been pinning some of my favorite plaid decor looks on Pinterest. And here are a few that are making me smile.
