Theresa’s blog: Should I be concerned? Avodaco face

‣ MyFixitUpLife It’s busy at MyFixitUpLife. And by ‘busy,’ I mean that when friends and family visit they go home and take a nap.

We’re just like you. Constantly juggling what we all juggle: life, work, family, and the surprises that happen each day. And just like every working Mommy-person, I always feel like I should be where I’m not.

So, it made me feel ‘taken care-of’ … and then ‘wait-a-second’ concerned, when I received a note from our 9-year-old Lexi. (see note to right) Am I working too much? Is she just trying to be kind? Or is she just tapping into my love (and nag) of eating fruit and veggies?

I think it’s the latter. But as friends of my age are well aware that we are not quite looking the same as when we were 22, there’s the ‘wait a second’ in my head. And there’s the recent trip for a spa facial where I learned they classify women of age 30 as ‘pre-menopausal’ and I just learned that they might lower the ‘advanced maternal age’ from 35 to who-knows-what. In my mind ‘advanced maternal age’ should really be 50+, right? And shouldn’t pre-menopausal be about the same?

Whether it’s for my simple goal of eating right, or for a reminder to relax and stop stressing about our MyFixitUpLife, it’s nice that she took the time to write a note and use pretty little stickers to brighten my day.

I think I’ll try the Avocado Mask, too.
