It may be our annual Tour de France fan-ness that has inspired my love for this Find, but it may just be that it’s simply a super creative way to reuse bike parts. And I’m always a fan of creative uses for what could be discarded as ‘trash.’
So, what started out as an inspired ‘flat-tire’ moment while biking to work has become a very busy Oregon-based Resource Revival. Every month, the company gathers about 3000 pounds of old bike parts from bike shops around the country and creates bracelets, bowls, clocks, picture frames, and more.
For my bike-loving husband, Resource Revival’s eco-friendly gifts are kind of a perfect idea.
