Build a Kid’s Lemonade Stand

Lemonade Stand

Lemonade stands are more than just a way to spend a fun afternoon to raise money for a new toy or a cause that you believe in.

It’s a fun way to learn some cooking basics, to practice carpentry skills, and to teach your kids about money.

This project is beyond the basics for many kids, but there are parts along the way that your little helpers can take on. For example, each wall has many screws or nails that can installed on a flat, low surface.

A little carpenter can check your measurements, and count out the boards for each side. Plus, the sign and the entire lemonade stand can be painted however your budding designer chooses.

Always important to follow safety tips when working with others, especially kids. Even if your little carpenter’s closed-toe shoes of choice are old tap shoes, and wants to wear a princess gown to help out, it’s important to make sure the clothes won’t interfere with the ability to get the jobs completed safely.

And if you take the time to build a sturdy Lemonade Stand like the one we built, you can keep using it as a Garden Wishing Well or a Puppet Theater for years to come.
