It’s easy to assume the biggest problem you can have with a new roof–whether you’re installing one or having one installed–is that is could leak. Makes sense.
But there’s a “forest for the trees” situation if you only pay attention to installation. And that forest is the roof’s color selection. I think it’s one of the most under-thought elements in home design–but hugely important inasmuch as your roof is one of the most visible design elements on any structure.
