Milwaukee’s 2630-20 18-volt cordless circular saw is a kick-a++ cutter.
I like this because my favorite speed setting on any tool—or jobsite—is full tilt @#$%^ boogie.
When I reach for a tool, it’s to make things happen. That isn’t always the result with cordless circ saws.
While the 2630-20 is not a replacement for a corded circ saw; like my main go-to saw is usually a wormdrive style saw. I often use two circ saws on a single project, like a deck where I have to make cuts at either end of the deck all day long. Or during demo work where I need to surgically remove something like the aging laminate counter we removed in a middle-of-the-night cut on set at Cooking Channel’s “Save My Bakery.” It’s also great for one-off stuff like repairs and quick cuts.
Big power and tough design play out on projects. I like these features of the 2630-20:

Smart design: handle, trigger, blade guard action, and blade-left configuration rock.
Batteries: bustin’-out run time. And I love the fuel gauge.
Line of site: a favorite feature. I can see the left-blade clearly and easily while cutting.
Rugged: thick, stable shoe. Beefy handle and touch points. Easy to adjust.
