Decorating for Halloween with crafty creativeness. Let’s talk #HossDesign.

Where whimsy and creativity explode, we’ll be decorating for Halloween.

Fun little shelf decoration found on Pinterest.

There are so many ways you could go when decorating for Halloween. Here are a few ideas on how to use pumpkins in your decor.

The easy decor fix? Go grab some pumpkins at the grocery store and set them by your front door. It’s that easy. Take it up a notch, and spray paint the pumpkins in a bold color, Glowz glow-in-the-dark paint, or a fun Glitter Blast.

The skilled decor fix? Jack-o-lantern your pumpkins, paint a pattern, or turn your pumpkins into something else. The something else could be a container for candy or a cat-o-lantern (scroll down for a picture).

I’m grateful that I’ve had many Halloweens to experiment with witch hats, ghosts, pumpkin fun, and skulls as part of my decor fun.

And there are so many creative ideas that we are gathering a few of our favorites to talk through the various options and see what other Halloween decor gurus think about unique and fun ideas for your home.

We’ll be talking ideas for decorating for Halloween in a sophisticated design home during #HossDesign Twitter chat with Hoss magazine editors on Wednesday, October 12th at 7:30pmET.

I hope to tweet you then. -t
