As the parents of two school-age kids, we watch winter weather forecasts with more interest than we did before kids were in the picture. Hot on the heels of the school question is, “what’s the best way to manage this snow?”
After years of living with snow, the melt-off from snow, and icy walks and drives, we find the best way to handle snow is to get rid of it quickly and let the post-storm sun warm up the walks and driveway.
