Emotional home buying? More than 50 percent of homebuyers say they have cried at least once during the homebuying process, according to a survey from Zillow.
Among younger buyers, 65 percent of Gen Z buyers and 61 percent of Millennials cried. It’s no wonder, with more than 50 percent of homes selling for over asking price and 23 percent fewer homes on the market than just one year ago.

There isn’t a big difference in the amount of time homeowners and renters spend on home maintenance tasks, according to a survey by Angi. Homeowners devote just 6 additional hours with a total of about 44 hours each month.
Women spend an average of 49 hours on house tasks and 15 hours cleaning the inside of their homes, while men spend about 36 hours on house tasks and about half as much time cleaning each month.
