Want a Feng Shui bedroom? We’ve got you covered with tips from HGTVRemodels.com expert Laurie March.
Is that light fixture over your bed really a dagger? It Feng-ing might be! And some little part of you might be Shui-ing its pants because of it.
But you can’t hear it because—like the hum of a TV—it’s so easily drowned out. But it’s there says DIY Network.com House Counselor Laurie March and a big part of Feng Shui is tuning in so we can make our most intimate spaces, well, intimate.
Let’s did into common bedroom concerns.
Should you store things under the bed? What way should your head face when you sleep? And what about watching TV on your laptop before bed? There is a cumulative energy riding just below the wave of our consciousness. And that’s not bull, either.
But don’t take it too seriously either Laurie says. You don’t have to become a robe-wearing monk ohm-ing the dawn away. Laurie advises us to do what works. The difference between a space that happens by accident and one that happens on purpose, however, is the intent.
So should your house of love have 340 pictures of children and pets and grandma? Or an abstract of flowers, a landscape you love, or a vignette from that once-in-a-lifetime vacation that made you so happy? In the end, it’s up to you. Wow, that little voice sounds tired. Poor little Feng-er.
