Everybody else in the world calls them “shop vacs,” but Festool calls them “dust extractors.” That may sound like a five-dollar title for a nickel word, but Festool’s CT 22 E earns the distinction.
Power. I appreciate fine tools; I really don’t care that much when a jobsite is covered with dust and debris. I want the fine dust, small-ish chunks, nails, screws, and pieces of wire my push broom misses to get sucked mercilessly into my vacuum when I pass the hose over them. Such is the case with the CT 22 E.
