FixitUp Find: Elio Motors’ Fun FUN-ction

Elio Motors‘ new Elio (eel-ee-oh) innovation machine (that’s what I’m calling it) has my attention.

First, it’s cool looking…Actually, forget about cool for a minute.

This 84 mpg, 3-wheel, grocery-carting, made in the USA, passenger-hauling bad-boy costs less than some CEOs’ watches—$6,800. Heck, my last tank of gas cost almost that much.

OK, mild exaggeration, but I make my point.

Elio has 3 air bags, AC, power windows and locks and if you’re smaller than an NFL player, you and your stuff are bound to fit, comfortably, behind the wheel.

Since zero people in the world think fuel is getting cheaper in their lifetimes, we have to—as entrepreneurs and as consumers—innovate our way out of it. That’s Elio’s mojo.

And I love it.
