An original upcycling tradition evokes tons of home decorating ideas.
While the United States is bursting with debates about whether we’re making America great or not-so-great, there’s a source of domestic comfort that can be found in the traditional quilt.
A quilt is a smart way to reuse fabric from worn blankets and clothing, and it is a fun way to celebrate little moments in life through reusing baby clothing or 5k run T-shirts.
These days quilt supplies offer many new gadgets to help cutting and sewing, plus there are packs of pre-cut shapes to add to the ease of quilting. Whether you use the pre-made pieces for an entire quilt or for just the in-betweens or borders, they can make quilting more fitting into a busy modern lifestyle.

History Unmystery. It may be widely understood as an American tradition, however the quilt was not born in America. Quilting has been traced back to the Ancient Egyptians, and the oldest surviving quilt was created in 1360. Called the Tristan quilt, the linen threaded quilt with cotton padding included six scenes and a clover border.
