Trying the features of a new battery-powered heated vest is a treat.
Battery-powered heated vest? Yes, I am always here for a heated garment.
I have battery-powered heated gloves and heated insoles for my boots. I’ve had two heated vests. Unfortunately, I have mucked up one of them with construction adhesive, paint, and other random bits from DIY and remodeling projects. The other vest needs a new battery. I’m having a hard time locating, even with the help of Mr. Google.
A heated vest is a wintertime essential in my wardrobe. I’m always a little cold. So when it’s cold outside, working outside, or even just going for a walk in my town, isn’t comfortable for long. When I have tools in my hand or I’m trying to get my steps in for the day with a long walk, I don’t need to be tempted to quit early or be distracted by being cold. A heated vest gives me the freedom to do what’s on my day’s task list.
This heated vest from AKASO has features that I’ve never experiences with my other vests.
- There is a detachable hood, with a heated zone in the collar. (The heat on my neck feels so good.)
- There are two buttons to control the temperature setting, one for the front of the vest and one for the back.
- The vest comes with a laundry bag, and it can be washed up to 50+ times in a washing machine when it’s set to cold or warm.
One of my favorite reasons I love a battery-powered heated vest is that it is rechargeable. It creates less waste than the multi-packs of hot hands that I used to stick in every pocket of my clothes when I worked outside in the winter. Yes, I used a lot of them. And I still keep one handy in my handbag, just in case I encounter a dip in temperature and I don’t have my heated vest with me.
