MyFixitUpLife talk show: Upcycled House with HGTV’s Junk Gypsies

Junk Gypsies can turn discarded junk into treasures. And we’re talking tools and tips on this episode.

Strap your boots on, we’re jumping into the world of upcycle and turning that other guy’s trash into our family’s treasures.

With the help from junk masters Amie and Jolie Sikes from HGTV’s ‘Junk Gypsies‘ and ‘Endless Yard Sale,’ we talk about how to discover that unloaded treasure. We talk about how to channel your inner-junk-finder, the best fleamarkets in the United States, and how you know you’ve found something worth remaking. And we find out about their junk-finding-instincts. Can a junk gypsy be taught or is junk-hunting a gift?

We also talk with Pauline Henderson from My Altered State about thrifting, picking, and hunting for the perfect find. Plus we talk reclaimed, rustic, and creative home decor projects.

Have you turned someone else’s ‘junk’ into a homemade treasure? We’d love to know about it. Share below in the comments or send us a note.

This episode first aired on 1520am in Philly and worldwide on BlogTalkRadio.
