Okay, I know this “tool” review is about a flashlight, but this is a flashlight worth writing about. Honest.
When I got the unit—it’s called the Aluminum Shake Light from Duluth Trading Company—I wasn’t planning a tool review. I mean really, it’s a flashlight. But once I started using it I found enough reasons to keep it in my truck and bring it onto my sites.
See the Light. The first and most important aspect of the Shake Light is that it casts a clear, crisp beam of LED light. It works well in conditions some scientists refer to as “darkness.”
I have several areas of this so-called darkness on my sites and discovered it occurs either at night or when light can’t get into a certain location. On my current remodeling project, the lights have not yet been installed. After shutting down the work lights, wrapping up all the cords, and heading to my truck I realized that I had forgotten something back inside the project.
