It’s National Take a Hike Day, so we’re outside talking with Building Wild Extreme Makeover designer tradesman Paul Dimeo.
How do you build wild? It’s how everything was first built, and Paul Dimeo has been creating these extreme makeover projects in every kind of weather for every kind of need.
So on this National Take a Hike Day, we’re asking Paul to share a few expert tips for the rest of us who build in less wild situations, but we all have to deal with rain, wind, and uncomfortable temperatures.
Paulie and Tuffy take on challenge after challenge on National Geographic’s Building Wild. While the afters are all spectacular and charming in their own right, the ride to get there is never as easy as the stunning work makes it seem.
Paul DiMeo is best known as a carpenter on all nine seasons of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. When he was 5 years old, his family home was burnt to the ground. They rebuilt it.
More than just a TV carpenter, Paul has renovated the homes and businesses of Hollywood’s movers and shakers. including the Beverly Hills Ralph Lauren Polo store, the William Morris Agency, Glenn Close, Joan and Marty Ransholff, Arnold Rifkin, David Niven Jr., Ann Archer, Marjorie Lord, Angelo DeSapio, and George Hamilton.
We’ll also be joined by MyFixitUpLife’s color commentator Justin DiPego. Theresa DIY dared ‘Do It With Justin‘ to take a hike and make a serving tray for Thanksgiving from what he collects on the hike.
Justin DIY dared Theresa to go for a hike and make something, too. Tune in on this blab to find out what they make.
Join us on Tuesday, November 17th at 8pmET on our live MyFixitUpLife show hosted by husband-and-wife Mark & Theresa. Share your comments and questions below to be included during the show, or share them live. We hope to see you then.
