How to Build a Privacy Screen

For a handy DIYer, a privacy screen is an easy-ish addition to a backyard patio.

Why build a privacy screen?

Privacy in a backyard space–even a spacious one–is a frequent desired amenity.

Sure, we don’t want to just wall our neighbors out, but we also don’t want them part of our morning coffee or late night hot tub. Then we might not want to see their late night hot tubbing adventures or other happenings from them, either.

The solution?

A proportioned and easy-on-the-eyes privacy screen. It sets a boundary without setting a border.

In this video, we get into the details of how to build a privacy screen such that it keeps your neighbors neighborly and keeps your coffee, hot tub, or beer with a friend a private moment and not available for an audience.
