Dear Mark and Theresa,
There is a 100% chance I need a new roof on my 150-year-old house and here’s my list if demands: I want this to be the last roof I ever install, I want it to look appropriate for the age of the house, I don’t have all the money in the world. Is this a possible dream?

Nora,
Short answer is yes: DaVinci Roofscapes Bellaforte Slate hit all your demand-point, plus offer 8 standard color blends and meet the unforgiving Miami-Dade building code.
Furthermore, they’ll resist rot and insect like nobody’s business and they’re warranted for 50 years. What I also like about Bellaforte—and your budget will like too—is that these are interlocking tiles. What this means is they install faster than other tiles which means you’re paying for less labor.
Finally, if you’re going to have a roof on your house for the rest of your life it had better look good and Bellaforte (in Italian the combination of the words strong and beautiful) does just that.
We actually chose a DaVinci Roofscapes synthetic slate tile for our home, and have been very happy with the installation, and how it’s performed. And it’s nice when we are complimented on how our roof looks, too.
