Make a jelly bean wreath

Making a jelly bean wreath just takes some patience, and the forbearance to not eat the candy.

Mark says I’m obsessed with making candy wreaths for the holidays. And he may be right.

I’ve been challenged by the adhesion process in the past. I’ve used hot glue. I’ve used Gorilla Glue. But, for the jelly bean wreath I envisioned for Easter this year, I had leftover pieces of Bondera. And why not? Bondera is super sticky and it holds tile in vertical applications that weigh much more than candy.

So I covered a styrofoam ring in strips of Bondera. And then spent a relaxing hour sticking the contents of two bags of Jelly Belly jelly beans to the ring. And this jelly bean wreath may just be my favorite of all of my candy craft creations.

And I had the opportunity to share my creation on the NBC 10! Show when we were demonstrating tiling with Bondera. Check out the video.
