  • Dear Mike Holmes,
I am desperately seeking help and guidance. I have a huge leak issue from the bathroom shower into the basement within a crawl space (not too narrow and is accessible). The leak has evidently been going unnoticed for some time and the wooden beams and harnesses supporting the floor in the immediate area have been very damaged and are compromising the structure in that the pipes in between are rusted and pressed upon by the rotting beams. I have asked four contractors for help and all have provided estimates. They all come with good intentions, however never return. No calls, no sense of responsibility. I have lived in this home since my dad purchased it in 1969 and he has since passed on. I am hoping to get this repaired before anything dangerous occurs. I just don't know what else to do and am reaching out to you/your team.
