We have the ‘forever collection bag’ that we pile our kids’ too-small clothes.
Usually we give them to littler friends, the Salvation Army, or the nonprofit Clothes’ Box at the hospital my mom volunteers.
But, sometimes there’s something special that’s been outgrown, and trying to figure out how to make a new life for the garment can be tricky. Especially when we don’t want our kids to get in the habit of keeping more than they need, so they’ll end up consuming extra space in their grown-up-future-homes to ‘store’ a box of concert T-shirts later in life.
So here’s a little re-make project to take two of our 11-year-old’s skirts, and turn them into two little pillows.
Perfect for our 11-year-old Alexis who is obsessed with cozy-comfy spots to read a good book.
