Have you ever heard ‘to a T’ and wondered what’s the T and did you know a Mark Cuban Shark Tank criticism fueled a plywood alternative company contest? And you can enter to win prizes. Find out more in today’s home improvement News Fix.
The phrase ‘To a T’ is most likely descended from the expression “to a tittle.”
So what’s a tittle?
A tittle is a small mark like the dot over an i or a j or a diacritical mark such as an accent mark. Essentially, to a T means “to the smallest detail.”
Inspired by Mark Cuban’s comments on Shark Tank, Plywood Alternative launched an ‘Awful Sales Skills Challenge’ to attract sales reps. Applicants receive a sales kit and 10 percent of prepaid sales. Plus, three cash prizes will be awarded.
Head over to plywoodalternative.com for more details.
But, wait. So what’s the alternative in the plywood? It’s a 48-inch-by-96-inch plastic panel that is 80 percent lighter than plywood and lets in light, so it’s ideal for boarding up windows. Cost is about $45 to $60 per sheet.
While plastic plywood may not be helping the sustainability movement, would you use this plywood alternative? Beyond bad weather prep, how would you use it? We’d love to know.
