I don’t use a jigsaw every day. No one does.
That’s because jigsaws are the go-to when none of your other saws can get in there. Scroll cuts, notches and cut-outs are this up-and-downer’s domain, and that’s where I’ve been making the most of my jigsaw.
Jigsaws need a unique combination of accuracy and power for the work I use them for, but unlike most tools, accuracy counts far more than power or the cut speed usually associated with it.
