My FixitUp husband

Mark watering, his way

Every day is an adventure inside our FixitUpLife.

No matter how much I plan, organize, and try to track everything we do, there are surprises that meet us each day. We juggle our home improvement projects for ourselves and clients, and the related product deliveries, both of which can make for fun headaches along the way.

But then we’ve had the delivery driver call to ask us where he could park his truck to sleep, and the projects where we’re filming them for TV or juggling photos in the snow or extreme heat, but trying to make it look like it’s a pleasant spring day.

Then there are the kids and their related activities, illnesses, and desire to eat three meals every day. (Mark is still trying to convince Lexi that ‘Chicken on Sundays’ would sustain her the whole week long. hahaha)

From the moment he jumped on a wall while we walked down a busy city street during our courtship days and announced that “The male of the species tries to impress the female of the species” I should have known his antics weren’t just for courting. It’s how he approaches every day. He’s always trying to find the humor and share it with his family. Even taking out the trash yesterday, he couldn’t resist the opportunity to nonchalantly stroll past everyone wearing a mask Lexi had discarded.

MyFixitUpLife may bring tons of challenges, but sharing it with Mark makes all of us inside his FixitUpLife smile every day.
