Internet Options

Never assume that you can get reliable internet everywhere! I recently helped a friend set up house, and quickly learned that the big Internet providers wouldn’t service her home. We had to get creative and go with a lesser known and a little less consistent service.

So, think of it this way: some areas will have multiple options for internet service providers, while some areas will unfortunately have a monopoly (and that tends to mean awful service and connection). So this is something that you’ll absolutely need to think about and look into when you’re “trying on” the neighborhood that you’re interested in.
