Our Hands-On Review Results of the Worx LeafJet
When this spindly little thing showed up, I immediately had my doubts. I mean, there is very little tool in this tool.
But, after locking in the two 20-volt batteries and getting to work blowing grass clippings after mowing my small, in-town lawn, I was impressed.
Set up on a similar interface to the Worx Nitro chainsaw (a beast), the Worx 40-volt Pro LeafJet gets it done. I could use this tool all the time on my small lawn and/or blowing out the garage, shed, shop or jobsite. The “pro” moniker is ambitious, but it does deliver air for a 15 solid minutes.
How is the tool during use?
The tool is well-balanced, super light and there is no reaction torque when the motor fires. I can also see it being ideal for people who only need to use a blower occasionally. While Mr. or Mrs. Jones may use a lawn service, I know from the many comments I get on one of my deck building videos that more people need to blow their decks off more often than they do.
Why would you need a LeafJet?
The Pro LeafJet would also be game-on for blowing powdery snow off cars and driveways. I’ve used blowers for this many times before and the LeafJet would for sure be a SnowJet.
Blow off the deck or paver walkway that always has mulch on it or clean up sawdust after a project.
The LeafJet will also get leaves, but not lots of them until the batteries need juice. But for light, frequent use and occasional clean-ups, blower Worx jammed a ton of wind into a small, easy to operate tool applicable to many users from young to old.
