Roof safety: Safety harness and roof bracket

Safety is crucial when working on a roof.

Especially when it’s my husband working on that roof.

And then factoring in that falls are consistently at the top of the Big Four safety hazards that make up 90 percent of jobsite fatalities annually:

Endura bracket from Roofers World

OSHA’s ‘Big Four’

1. Falls from elevations
2. Struck by
3. Caught in/between
4. Electrical shock

For our recent roof project, I felt good knowing that Mark was tied-off with a safety harness and was using sturdy roof brackets.

A good bracket to choose is the Endura Bracket from Roofers World. It’s the industry’s strongest steel economy roof bracket. The Endura Bracket has four additional welds where no other roof bracket is protected. Reinforced middle and base strengthening ribs reduce bending, snapping and weld failures commonly experienced by standard metal brackets.

The Endura Bracket was introduced in 2010 and is available in 2” x 10” 45 & 60 degrees, and 2” x 6” 45, 60, & 90 degrees.
