If you like tools with a philosophy that informs their design, then Japanese tools are it.
Like many things in Japanese culture, there’s great thought invested in how a tool works and how it works with the person using it. And, to a certain degree, how the entire experience feeds a person’s soul.
I like stories, and stories about everyday things imbued with deeper meaning blows my hair back, but I doubly like it if such a thing helps me build better. That’s what Shark Corp.’s Japanese-style saws do for me. I use the Shark 10-2440 and 10-2205, and they’re indispensable, especially on custom trim sites. They cut where no other saw I own can — and do a great job.
