Spring’s trendiest colors…

2012_Pantone_SpringColors

‣ MyFixitUpLife There’s been a lot of talk about the color of the year: Tangerine Tango.

Gorgeous hue that has powerful, bold energy that’s showing up everywhere this year. (You can tell that I’m a fan…in fact my favorite winter coat is this hue.)

But looking down the list of Pantone’s ‘Top Ten’ list of colors for Spring 2012, I’m happy to see there are a few neutrals that are making the list. And rightly so. Neutrals are fundamental to fashion, and extraordinarily popular in home design.

The earthy color of Driftwood is a neutral that made Pantone’s list. It’s also the color of our windows. We picked them a few years ago, and it’s nice to see that for at least this season, our home is spot-on trend.

NOTE: If picking a color other than white for your windows or other exterior details makes you anxious, or you’re just not sure about making such a big decision… check out the free color guide “FRESH Home Exterior Colors” that will help make color decisions much easier.
