Recent supercells (intense wind and lightning storms) have been dropping old and shallow rooted trees where I live for the past month. I’ve been cleaning up one foot thick hardwood branches and 100+ year old trees, with two rip-roaring saws from Stihl: the MS 250 and the MS 390.

The MS 250 is a mid-sized, utility type saw while the MS 390 is a bigger dog more suited for cutting mondo logs and taking stumps flush to the ground. Here’s how they fared.
