FixitUp Find: Superior Walls Precast Foundations

Superior Walls’ R-5 and Xi foundation systems pass my “Born on the Jobsite” test.

The system was developed by New Holland, Pa., builder Mel Zimmerman who was — like most inventors — frustrated with the status-quo foundation process of building forms, pouring concrete, waiting for cure time, then stripping forms only to have to damp proof or waterproof the stemwall.
