Q1 Are featured ceilings—bold color, texture, or pattern—popular where you live and work?
A1. #WalkThrew Yes, this year, more clients are asking for plank ceilings where we work in Montgomery County, PA. They like the look, and it’s way more fun to install than drywall.
Q2 Have you witnessed any decrease in standard flat white ceilings?
A2. #WalkThrew Yes, there’s been fewer standard flat white ceilings in the mix. And finishing drywall isn’t our favorite, especially ceilings. We aren’t a drywall superhero like @FergusonDrywall

A3. #WalkThrew We’re into a painted ceiling that isn’t white. In our house, we have a bold green dining room ceiling, basement ceiling that’s Starry Night @SherwinWilliams, and a shower alcove that’s black.

A4. #WalkThrew A plank or shiplap ceiling is a favorite to install. It goes up quickly, adds dimension to the space, and it’s easy to access what’s in the ceiling later.
We added little ceiling cubbies in our basement to increase the storage space, too.

A5. #WalkThrew Homeowners are looking for ways to personalize their homes, and the ceiling is like the “last frontier” of surfaces.
The ceiling is an often neglected part of a design plan, and there’s so much that can be done up there.
