Time travel day with Spike’s Alison and Skip Bedell

We all want a time travel day at some point in our lives. One of those points is when you’re looking up at the bottom of the bell curve that any DIY, home improvement, or remodeling project travels. Whether you’re doing it yourself—or paying someone who is ostensibly a professional to do it for you—ask your questions and share your fury with us tonight!

We’ve got Spike Channel’s diesel contractor-catching Skip Bedell. Teamed up with hilarity-man (and non-slouch carpenter/contractor) Adam Carolla and wife Alison Bedell, talk with Skip about staying on top of contractors. Get real advice and minimize the need for time travel day in a bottle and learn to protect yourself from getting ripped off. Money and progress matter. Guard them wisely.

It’s live and it’s streaming and we want you to be part of the action. So, do it. We’ll see you there

  • Doug!!! Great note. You sound like one of the good guys. Are there are too few of us out there I think. We're there, we're not the lowest price, but homeowners and business owners can and should find us. • Here in Houston, TX. with our recent floods thousands of home owners dealing with 2-5ft of water in their homes. As a licensed plumber I see really bad contractors work daily. I talk to the homeowners and they all agree to check contractors & ask for references but many just sign. I invite you to Houston. Been watching & love the catching. As a side note, Our company builds restaurants & does a lot of commercial work also, as bad as homeowners getting ripped off, it's amazing on the commercial side the huge amounts involved in jobs being completely done wrong or sub-par materials, lousy workmanship. Many of the owners lose everything behind commercial jobs gone sideways, where some simple pre-bid work would have saved them. Most people have no clue to inspection process, which protects the owners, city & everyone else connected to that sewer or water, gas lines. Great Job guys.
