When you reach for a reciprocating saw, you can bet whatever’s about to happen ain’t gonna be pretty.
Even if it’s just cutting out mis-nailed blocking or studs, or zapping out bottom plates from door rough-openings, you’re talking about the rip-and-run, push-and-pull, smash-and-grab of demolition. And when it does come to full-bore demolition — dropping entire rooms, full wall-section penetrations, dismantling a structure — not only ain’t it pretty but the mainframe tool we use — recip saws — must to grit their teeth and get ugly.
Good thing Bosch’s 1651K is a pretty nice tool for ugly work. And …it’s cordless.
